ZONAL DIRECTOR CALLS FOR COMMITMENT

The Zonal Director of Awka, Aba and Benin Area Offices, Mr. D. Echebiri has described high commitment and performance as the needed quality required from every staff to enable the Fund attain greater height, stressing that commitment, dedication and teamwork provided the gateway to enhanced productivity. Mr. Echebiri who stated this when he paid an oversight visit to Benin Area Office noted that the visit was an administrative process to supervise the activities of the Area Office within his zone.

He commended the efforts of the Area Office in terms of achievements recorded so far but advised for stronger cooperation between Management and staff of the Area Office in order that the Fund’s mandate will be achieved. The Zonal Director was later accompanied by Benin Area Office management team to two of the Fund’s contributing employers in the area: Presco Plc, and Life Flour Mills, Sapele, Mr. Echebiri praised Presco for being up to date in their training activities and contributions. He also advised the Management of Life Flour Mills to embrace training in order to be abreast of global trends in business.

In separate responses, Management of Presco Plc and Life Flour Mills, Sapele, stated that their companies were interested in ITF training programmes especially in technical/engineering areas.
