DIRECTOR GENERAL CHARGES STUDENTS OF THE ITF STAFF SCHOOL FOR MORE PERFORMANCE

 

In line with the fund’s mandate to develop the nation’s Human Resource for the economy’s growth, the Director General of the Industrial Training Fund, Associate Professor Longmas Sambo Wapmuk,OON, hosted the ITF Junior Secondary School students.

 

The Director General who was represented by the Director, ITDD, Mallam Aminu Mohammed welcomed the students, saying that the educational visit was a good idea and it is in the right direction.

 

Professor Wapmuk, stated further that this initiative will afford the students the opportunity to have adequate knowledge on the fund.

 

He added that it was as a result of the effort and hard work of the school management and academic prowess of the students which had brought about the Junior Secondary School approved recently by both the Federal and State Education Ministries.

 

He also advised them to be useful to the society and to themselves and charged them to be more serious in their education.

 

Responding, the Head Teacher of the school, Mallam Shehu Jibrin Loko, appreciated the Director General for his cooperation at all times, adding that it is the support of management that helped the school to have such a remarkable record.

 

The students were given briefs on the workings of the Finance and Admin and Human Resource Departments respectively by Alhaji El Kyari and Mr. Paul Alozie. They were later taken to the computer center and library on educational tour.
