COMMAND AND STAFF COLLEGE STUDENTS VISIT ITF

Students of course 29 of the Command and Staff College Jaji recently visited the Industrial Training Fund and several other establishments in Plateau State.

The students, who were received by the ITF management in Jos, expressed their appreciation for the warm and pleasant reception accorded them. The team leader, Col. O. O. Adeleke, who is the Director of Administration of the school, told the ITF management that it was part of the school's curriculum for students to embark on study tours, so as to expose them practically to socio-economic environment of Nigeria.

He said that the study tour this year was focused on “harnessing the human and natural resources potential of Plateau State for integral socio-economic development” which was why the students were in the state.

In his response, the ITF Director General, Longmas Sambo Wapmuk, said ITF was proud to have such caliber of students in its headquarters, on an important study tour. He told the visitors that ITF, established in 1971, was on off shoot of the indigenization policy and its emphasis was on human resource development.
