ASSIST OPC THROUGH PROVISION OF INFRASTRUCTURE - OLU FALAE.

 

Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Chief Olu Falae, has appealed to governments at all levels to provide enabling infrastructure such as roads to assist private investors.

 

Chief Falae who made the appeal when he received an ITF delegation to Ondo Plastic Company where he doubles as the Chairman/Chief Executive also expressed his interest in the training offered by the ITF noting that as permanent secretary in the Federal Civil Service, his contributions support and recommendations were imperative to the establishment of the organization.

 

The Industrialist said his organization has embraced the services provided by the ITF. On SIWES, for instance, Chief Falae said the company accepts students for the Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) in order to expose them to the practical requirements of their training.

 

Speaking during the visit, the Area Manager of Akure Area Office, B. A. Asaju, who had earlier visited other establishments in the state, appealed to Ondo Plastic Company to be accepting students on Industrial attachment, noting that such practical training was designed to prepare students of Tertiary Institutions for the real work situation they were likely to meet on graduation.
