ITF NEW CONDITION OF SERVICE COMMITTEE SUBMITS REPORT TO DG

 

The committee constituted by the Management to fashion out new staff regulations and conditions of service has submitted its report to the Director General of the Fund, Professor Longmas Sambo Wapmuk, OON.

 

Presenting the report, Chairman of the 13-man Committee and Head of General Administration, Mr. John A. Jamok, said innovations were introduced in four key areas. He expressed gratitude to the Management for taking the giant step which was long overdue.

 

The Committee which recommended the establishment of a Junior Staff Appointment Committee at both the Headquarters and Area Office levels, benchmarked with other institutions operating CONTISS especially those with similar mandate.

 

Receiving the report, Chief Executive of the Fund, showered encomium on the members, stating that history will judge them favourably for their quick production of a document that will impact on the workers of the Fund.

 

He promised Management’s speedy deliberation on the document and called on staff to redouble their effort for improved productivity and sustenance of the new Conditions of Service.
