DG INTERACTIVE FORUM WITH JOURNALIST

The ITF recently organised an interactive forum for the Nigerian Union of Journalists, Plateau Chapter. This was held at Centre for Excellence Bukuru, where respected speakers held sessions with them. The lead speaker, Professor Dakas Y. Dakas of the Law Faculty, University of Jos, spoke on ethics of the profession and how to avoid libel and slander.

The chairman of the chapter, Kadaba Gobum expressed great appreciation to the ITF. He emphasised that it is such educative sessions that would help journalist in advancing their profession rather than cheap; sensitization.

The Director-General represented by Director, Public Relations and External Affairs and Publicity expressed happiness at the occasion and solicited for further cementing of the already cordial relationship between ITF and NUJ.
