IBADAN A/M LAUDS FEDERAL GOVERNMENTS’ PROGRAMMES

Staff of the Industrial Training Fund have been described as soldiers in their commitment, zeal in making the Fund a training ground for potential destiny achievers and goal getters, as its system of operation is more like the private sector and far from the usual government ministries.

This was the opinion of guests who witnessed the 38th Anniversary of the Fund in Ibadan and Awka Area Offices.

In her speech delivered on behalf of the Director-General of the Fund, Area Manager of Ibadan Area Office and Chief host, Mrs. M. A Olori-Aje lauded the immense contribution of the development programmes of the Federal Government of Nigeria over the years. She stressed further that this is a way of realizing the 7-Point Agenda of the present administration especially in human resources training and development.

Similarly, Awka Area Manger, Mrs. Linda Egbuonu highlighted Loyalty, Discipline, Creativity and Enterprise as core values of the Fund. She explained that it is the teaming spirit of the Fund staff that remains the backbone of the success that is worth celebrating.

Mrs. Egbuonu further pointed out that as a result of the above core values, relationship with the client and effective performance has been sustained by the Fund.

She also enjoined all staff of the Fund to be aware of the enormous burden placed on them by the founding fathers in doing what is right and in taking the nation to an enviable height.
