The Industrial Training Fund, Ikeja Area Office has implemented a two days seminar aimed at sensitizing contributing employers on the Revised Reimbursement and Grant Scheme with a view to redress the delays in processing reimbursement claims caused by mistakes in application.

The fifth Reimbursement and Grant Scheme attracted twenty one participants from twenty one companies across Lagos. It was organized for schedule officers that are saddled with the responsibility of preparing reimbursement claims for their companies.

In her opening remark, the Area Manager Mrs. Roselyn Mailumo described the new reimbursement scheme as a way of easing difficulties in processing reimbursement on both the side of ITF and its respective clients, while enjoining the participants to explore every advantage of the workshop.

According to the Head of Training, Mr. Gabriel Olatunji emphasized the Fund’s willingness to have their contributing employers enjoy all the benefits of training, adding that, it will also go a long way in making ITF fulfill one of its statutory mandate of reimbursing 60% of training contribution to companies.
