PROGRAMMES ARE THE CHEAPEST, YET MORE EFFECTIVE – ENGR. ATING |

Despite
the relative cost of ITF training programmes as compared to competitors, its
training is more effective as it is tailor made to meet the needs of trainees,

Water Company, Engineer Bassey Ating
has said. |

Engineer
Ating, who was receiving the Director General of
the Industrial Training Fund who was on farmiliarisation
tour of organisations in Uyo State also stressed
the importance of training saying that installing enabling infrastructure
alone was not an assurance to attainment of Corporate goals without
commensurate maintenance, and this he said required constant training and
retraining. |

He
said the visit of the Director General would serve as an added boost for the
organisation to work more closely with the ITF. Director-General of the ITF,
Prof. Longmas Wapmuk
commended the Akwa Ibom
Water Company on the good relationship existing between both organisations. He
solicited the continued patronage of the ITF training by company noting that
the Fund has a lot to offer as it has the required professionals that offer
trainings in a range of skills. |
